There are some simple GUIDELINES for this board that will make it more fun and enjoyable to everyone. Please keep in mind that it would be best if you followed them....but we wont be too picky. pirates we are
1. Please introduce yourself when you become a member in the "Introduce Yourself" section.
2. Please make sure your post topics are correct for the section in which you are posting. If you think we need another section, post in the "site news and suggestions" section. If the topic of your post does not fit in any category, post it in the "general" section.
3. Please do not make repeated posts about how hot and sexy Jack Sparrow/Johnny Depp and Will Turner/Orlando Bloom are and how you are going to marry one of them. We've seen the movie; we know they are hot.
4. Please refrain from using "chatspeak" (such as "hey pplz, c u l8r" for example) because it is difficult to read.
5. Do not flame anyone. This is not tolerated. If you flame people, you will be banned.
6. I (the webmistress) have the right to change or ammend these rules at any time.

8. If you are going to post pictures, don't put them all side by side...limit the pictures to a maximum of 9" wide. Otherwise it messes up the forum's formatting.
9. Slash fics, or any other fanfic containing any form of sexuality is allowed, as long as a warning is in the post title.
10. Do not label things as 'dumb' or 'stupid' without any regard to those who actually like what you do not.
11. Be nice to those who need help, directing them to another thread for help or helping them yourself.
12. Do not reply to threads that do not concern you. [For example, on avatar and signature threads, one member may respond to a request for something and another person makes it instead of the member who originally offered.]
13. Do not respond to requests on threads that are to be responded to by the author. [Such as avatar threads that ask if people would like an avatar made. Others should not, out of courtesy, offer to make an avatar that should rightfully be made by the person who offered originally.]
14. Make sure you post in the correct section. For example, general PotC related posts go under "General Topics" whereas ANY non-PotC related posts go under off-topic. If you post in the wrong section, we will try to move your topic for a few times, but if you repeatedly post in the wrong sections, your posts will be deleted.
15. If you disobey any of the rules, I, as webmistress, reserve the right to delete and/or ban you from the board. I will not hesitate to do so either! I know that sounds harsh, but it is the only way to keep a pleasant environment on the board.
16. Please Keep your signature Images below the MAXIMUM SIZE (IN PIXELS) of 600 WIDTH and 300 HEIGHT. So that the page does not stretch and the load times are less for people with slower internet connections.
